BlueJeans is a Californian company specializing in interoperability and cloud-based video communications. It was founded in 2009 by Krish Ramakrishnan and Alagu Periyannan, headquartered in Mountain View, California. The company pursued the goal of providing video communications not only for large corporations, but also for smaller companies and freelancers.

BlueJeans offers a cloud-based video communication service that connects users of different devices and platforms. Thus, they enable compatibility for business conferencing services such as Cisco, Microsoft Lync and Polycom with consumer services such as Google. BlueJean's products are compatible with any video telephony software and technology, including smartphones. This means that a bypass is also provided for video conferencing service providers who operate without room systems, regardless of which terminal device or service is used. To this end, they also develop video conferencing solutions designed for modern working environments.
