Even though a large part of the working world has retreated to the home office, employers and employees should not forget the data protection provisions of the DSGVO.
These are intended to protect personal data. The provisions come into play when employees or employers work with personal data. The more sensitive this data is, the greater the protection measures must be. Data without personal references are irrelevant in terms of data protection law, but internal company data should also be handled responsibly.
In order to work in the home office in accordance with data protection regulations, some guidelines should therefore be followed.
