Workspaces

The hybrid work culture is finding its way into more and more companies, and cross-location communication and collaboration is more important than ever these days. A space where teams and employees can come together both physically and virtually to discuss and interact is what we call a workspace.

Workspaces can be very different: whether it’s a team meeting in a huddle space, a project presentation in a meeting room, or a board meeting in a boardroom, each scenario must meet different technical requirements. While in the huddle the technology for spontaneous meetings should be ready for use at any time and intuitive to operate, a boardroom must above all be representative and centrally controllable.

Factors such as the size of the room and the number of people in it also play a key role when it comes to equipping the rooms. The more participants there are in a room, the larger the display should be, the more functional the camera and the higher quality the audio technology.

We show you which technology we recommend at which point under the respective room types.

Of course, we will also be happy to advise you.

Home Office

Single Workstation

The common way of working has changed, and many companies are offering their employees the opportunity to work entirely or partially in a home office. While this certainly brings advantages, it also presents some companies with a challenge. After all, despite the fact that employees are separated by location, the team’s performance must be maintained and, if necessary, new work processes must be developed. However, with the right equipment and the appropriate tools, technical hurdles and spatial distances can be overcome and work processes can be made even more productive.

Workspace Huddle Room

Meeting Point

2 to 4 people

Just a quick chat with the supplier, a quick meeting with the team or a video call with colleagues from other locations, the Meeting Point is the place to go for spontaneous meetings in an informal atmosphere. Use every space in your company effectively and sensibly and transform, for example, your reception area into a multifunctional meeting environment. This way, you not only have an alternative option for an ad-hoc meeting when all conference rooms are occupied, but it also makes this area particularly representative for customers and business partners.

Huddle Space

4 to 6 people

In the Huddle Room, teams come together in small groups to share thoughts, present ideas, discuss results from the week, or discuss next steps. The meetings usually take place spontaneously, have an informal character and rarely require an agenda. Technology should be ready to use at any time without much effort, which is why huddle rooms are designed so that participants can bring their own device (BYOD). This saves valuable time, offers full flexibility and improves the effectiveness of meetings.

Meeting Room

6 to 10 people

In contrast to the huddle, meeting rooms are much less team-specific, and familiarization with the functions should not be necessary if possible. The people and groups using them are mostly cross-team and changing. Corporate third parties are also more likely to participate in meeting spaces. Integration into the internal network and quick access to internal documents are less of a focus. Wireless presentation on larger displays, video conferencing in dual-monitor mode, room and media control, and detached digital whiteboarding are typical applications.

Conference Room

8 to 12 people

The conference room is the center of collaboration and the birthplace of innovation and change. All technical refinements are combined in this room. In addition to discussions, meetings, presentations and video conferences, it is especially the product presentation and the workshop scenarios, which are as location-independent as possible, that increase the complexity of the ensembles. As a „workshop - hub“, the conference room connects meeting rooms and huddles to a joint meeting. Each participant can share their content and ideas, no matter where in the world the other participants are located.

Boardroom

up to 20 people

The Board Room, on the other hand, is largely representative. In these places, the company wants to demonstrate its technical capabilities. Oversized screens, gesture control and multi-technology networking meet design and technical support services. A Board Room is generally not used ad hoc and is not available to the general employee public. For corporate clients, the Board Room is the place for supervisory board meetings, press conferences or other high occasions.
