Success Story: DEKOM revamps over 50 office and conference rooms

DEKOM supplies the latest video conferencing technology to the Berlin location of the global delivery service Delivery Hero.

Delivery Hero is a food delivery service, available in over 50 countries and with more over 43,000 employees. The company has been using aging technology and had implemented a Zoom environment to enable its administrative offices around the world to collaborate. In the past, however, shortcomings of the outdated technology became noticeable. Additionally, the company's own devices, such as laptops, had to be connected via HDMI each time. This was both impractical and unaesthetic, especially as easier options exist in the age of BYOD.

As a Zoom environment already existed, this had to be used as a basis. Also essential was the scalability criterion. As a fast-growing global company, it must be possible to expand the solution at any time and equip all offices consistently.

As a result, Delivery Hero opted for a solution with DTEN.

DTEN DTEN is an innovative company and offers efficient, zoom-optimised all-in-one space solutions. In addition to easy handling and optimal integration into the existing Zoom environment, the manufacturer offers devices of various sizes for every need - from home offices, meeting points and huddle rooms to larger conference rooms.

DEKOM was entrusted with equipping over 50 offices at the Berlin site. The 55- and 75-inch versions of theDTEN D7 were used for the conference rooms, as well as the DTEN Me. A particularly advantage, as Delivery Hero notes after the implementation, is the whiteboard function, which realises real-time collaboration in addition to the usual video conferencing. This aspect enables the simultaneous processing of files, regardless of the location of the participants. This makes teamwork enjoyable at a distance. ;
