For the 7th DEKOM Conferencing & Seaport Day on May 23rd, Hamburg-based DEKOM AG once again brought together a true Who's Who of international videoconferencing and media technology: renowned companies such as Cisco, Polycom, AMX, Avaya, SMART, Lifesize, Crestron, Vidyo, Extron and StarLeaf met in Hamburg to discuss the industry's latest technologies and developments.
For one day, DEKOM turned the 23rd floor of Emporio Tower into a spacious high-tech exhibition, and with panoramic view over Hamburg, presented its comprehensive, crossvendor solution portfolio to the interested public. In addition to numerous workshops, lectures and discussions, the agenda also offered a real world premiere: American videoconferencing pioneer LifeSize unveiled its new "LifeSize Cloud" – and was promptly awarded the "Manufacturer Innovation Award" for it by the audience. Further prizes were given to Polycom and Crestron for their developments in the fields of audioconferencing and 4K signal transmission.
