Following tradition, Hamburg port’s anniversary provided a fitting backdrop for the 4th Conferencing & Seaport Day. On 6 May 2011, DEKOM welcomed representatives from 49 companies and around 120 visitors to an exhibition of the latest trends in conferencing and video technology at the old main customs office in the warehouse district.
As well as a panel discussion and talks by the hosts and exhibitors, the event also included a live demonstration of the latest development from DEKOM - the MEDIA PRESENCE ENVIRONMENT, whose modern components will set new benchmarks for video conferencing technology. In addition to this, DEKOM’s partners Cisco, Lifesize, Polycom and Radvision showcased a wide range of products, from desktop solutions to large-scale telepresence solutions.
Once again, DEKOM AG (formerly ViDOFON AG) enjoyed considerable industry interest at the 4th Conferencing & Seaport day. Every year, the CSD offers the perfect venue for obtaining concise information about media, audio, control and presentation technology to meet the growing demands on modern corporate communications. Experts discuss the major developments in the industry and provide an insight into future communication in sales, businesses, auditoriums, hotels or theatres. Professional development, networking and relaxation was also the theme of the recreational activity, with the participants setting off on a trip along the Elbe in glorious sunshine.
