Avaya Scopia Version 8.3

Improved Usability And Deeper UC Integration

Avaya Scopia
24.06.2014 -

The latest Scopia version 8.3 does not only include plenty of new features that make video conferencing even more easy and comfortable. With this update, the renaming of Radvision to Avaya has also been completed: from now on, the comprehensive Radvision portfolio will be called "Avaya Scopia Video Collaboration".

A new gallery layout, calendar integration and new features for the iPad-App Scopia Control once again enhance the user experience. Via Scopia Mobile, H.264 SVC and H.264 High Profile are now also available on mobile devices, which significantly improves the video quality especially via non-quality-assured IP networks such as the internet. In addition, Scopia XT systems now also use "Netsense", the proven adaptive bandwidth adjustment, to provide optimum video quality even with the most difficult network conditions.

The advanced integration with Avaya's "IP Office" and "Aura" UC solutions as well as with Microsoft Lync completes the new update.

  • Rebranding to Avaya
  • Enhanced usability for room systems and MCUs
  • Increased quality and fault tolerance by the use of H.264 High Profile, H.264 SVC and Netsense
  • Advanced integration with Avaya UC and Microsoft Lync solutions
