A powerful visual foundation

The Jacobs Douwe Egberts town hall received an impressive upgrade with a 163" InfiLED WP-series LED wall. Thanks to its high brightness and completely bezel-free display, it ensures exceptional visibility under all lighting conditions. The ultra-slim design and sleek floor-to-ceiling mounting by B-Tech allow the screen to blend seamlessly into the room.

The Microsoft Teams Room configuration, featuring a Yealink MVC S80 with two SmartVision 80 cameras, delivers natural AI-driven camera movements and razor-sharp 4K close-ups. This creates a single, cohesive environment where hybrid presentations come across as clear, calm, and professional.

Interactive participation for everyone

For Q&A and interaction, JDE uses a set of fully customised Catchbox microphones. This personalisation makes it easy for administrators – even those without a technical background – to identify the correct microphone and manage it via the system. Speakers can move freely with the Clip, which captures their voice with clarity as they move, while the Stick provides a natural handheld microphone experience for interviews or co-presenters.

The throwable Cube makes audience participation accessible and lively: the microphone is simply tossed to participants, with Automute™ technology automatically suppressing all catching and throwing sounds. This creates an energetic dynamic where everyone can participate without hesitation.

Frictionless presenting

Presentations can be launched without delay by simply connecting a laptop via a single USB-C cable. This allows content to be shared in razor-sharp 4K while simultaneously charging the device.

For those who prefer to go wireless, the Yealink PA20 enables instant 4K screen sharing via Wi-Fi 6, requiring no software or installation. The result is a 'ready-to-go' setup: speakers simply plug in or click once to display their content, completely independent of IT support.

A unified town hall experience

The overall audio experience has been optimised using a Q-SYS audio system, comprising an audio processor, amplifier, and ceiling speakers. Thanks to the bezel-less speakers and strategic positioning, a consistent and balanced soundstage has been achieved.

Combined with the Catchbox microphones, every participant enjoys the same crystal-clear speech reproduction, while the dual Yealink cameras accurately track both the speaker and the audience. This ensures the town hall feels like a single, unified environment where presentations, Q&A sessions, and hybrid participation flow together effortlessly.
