The Sennheiser MEB 104 is a compact built-in boundary-layer microphone designed for fixed installations where high speech intelligibility, a clean aesthetic and unobtrusive hardware are essential. It delivers natural, articulate voice pickup thanks to its German-made condenser capsule and cardioid pattern, which effectively reduces ambient noise and focuses on the speaker.
MEB 104 is mounted directly into a table surface, podium or panel, maintaining a tidy workspace with no visible cables or desktop devices. It operates on 24–48 V phantom power and integrates seamlessly with conferencing DSPs, matrix mixers and automatic mixing systems.
The MEB 104-L version adds a dual-color LED indicator for active/mute status, making it ideal for council chambers, boardrooms and systems requiring visual control feedback.
Available in black or white, the MEB 104 is a versatile solution for meeting rooms, classrooms, presentation spaces, video conferencing environments and any installation where clean acoustics and stable speech clarity are a priority.
