HP USB-C Dock G5

HP USB-C Dock G5 is a compact universal docking station for USB-C–enabled notebooks, built to simplify desk and meeting-room setups with a single cable connection. It’s designed to work across mixed environments, supporting HP and non-HP USB-C and Thunderbolt-enabled notebooks (Thunderbolt hosts operate at USB-C speeds).

Connect your peripherals, wired network, and up to three displays to the dock, then plug one USB-C cable into the laptop for access and charging. With a small 5 × 5 in footprint, it helps keep desks clear while still providing a full set of ports for everyday work.

For IT, the dock adds advanced manageability features such as PXE Boot, LAN/WLAN switching, Wake-on LAN, and MAC Address Pass-Through (feature availability depends on host support and is limited on non-HP systems). eTag helps track docks by product name, serial number, and MAC address, and firmware updates can be staged via managed notebooks for later installation on the dock.
