Samsung Color E-Paper EMDX is a lightweight color e-paper display designed to replace printed posters and price boards in indoor business spaces. It keeps a static image with 0.00 W power consumption, so content can stay visible without permanent power wiring – practical for retail, hospitality, offices and public areas.
With a 2560 × 1440 resolution panel and Samsung color imaging algorithm (E Ink Spectra 6™), EMDX delivers paper-like readability with smooth color gradation. The non-glossy frame helps reduce reflections, while portrait mode is default and landscape is supported for different layouts. Video playback is not supported; content is based on supported image formats (JPEG/JPG/BMP/PNG).
A built-in replaceable 5,000 mAh battery and USB-C connectivity support flexible placement. Content can be updated locally via Samsung E-Paper App on Android or iOS, and Samsung VXT cloud platform can be used for device and content management (sold separately). Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in, storage is 8 GB, and VESA 200 × 200 plus Kensington lock help with standard mounting and physical security.
