NS Gen 2 networkswitches

Q-SYS NS Series Gen 2 comprises enterprise-grade network switches manufactured by NETGEAR and pre-configured to meet the performance requirements of Q-SYS audio, video, and control (AV&C) systems. These switches facilitate real-time transport of Q-LAN, AES67, and Dante audio streams, as well as Q-LAN video streaming and distribution, all within the same VLAN, eliminating the need for manual QoS configuration.​

Each switch features standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at) on all ports, providing combined power, data, and control for Q-SYS devices. The NS10-720++ and NS26-1440++ models support PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4), delivering up to 90 Watts per port, suitable for devices with higher power requirements.

Integrated IGMP+ ensures automatic management of multicast AV traffic across multiple switches, while an optional built-in DHCP server offers automated IP connectivity for standalone AV systems . These features simplify network setup and reduce the need for manual configuration.​
