Microsoft Surface Hub is a videoconferencing system, interactive whiteboard, projector and presentation PC. It combines a large screen with built-in PC computer, two 1080p cameras, an array of four microphones and powered stereo speakers in one unit. Dedicated versions of Microsoft Office, OneNote Whiteboard and Skype for Business software were specifically developed for the Surface Hub.
Up to three people can work write, draw and interact with the screen, run universal Windows apps or wirelessly connect applications on the laptop, tablet or smartphone, work together as a group and also include remote participants on a Surface Hub via video.
Microsoft Surface Hub is available as a 84" version with 4K resolution (3840x2160p) and Intel Core i7 processor, as well as a smaller 55" version (1920x1080p Full HD, Intel Core i5). Both versions are equipped with 8GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD hard drive for the bundled Windows 10 operating system, two rechargeable Surface Hub pens and with USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and Miracast connectivity.
Due to the fully integrated design, two different sizes and a comprehensive selection of mounting configurations, stands and holders the Microsoft Surface Hub can be optimally adapted to almost any space.
„A major advantage of the e-learning platform is that our students gain very simple and immediate access to the recordings.“
