"Smart-class" is a comprehensive solution by Samsung, developed for education sector, which includes: interactive board, tablets, monitor, PC and multi-function device with the capabilities of a printer, scanner and copier. These modern devices can make learning process much more engaging, interactive and effective. And children from small towns are really delighted with them.
In addition to the abovementioned, network and switching equipment is necessary for the smart class. We integrated Samsung decision in all 6 schools. DEKOM was responsible for installation, configuration and personnel training.
Providing access for children to the latest technologies is a very inspiring experience for us. Vladimir Kryzhanovskiy, leading engineer of DEKOM information systems Ukraine, shared his impressions:
"Opening of the smart-class in Melitopol was a real event. The whole school was crowding at the door of the classroom, everyone was anxious to look inside. Media technology is a novelty for children. Even the Internet in the school appeared only due to our project."
This year the project "Samsung towards knowledge" was held for the 7th time. Selection of victorious schools was conducted in several stages. On the first one teamshad to write an essay "School of the Future." Top 15 works were selected from 1000. Authors also prepared a video presentation on their concepts. The second round consisted of voting on these video presentations. That is how five schools were chosen. Another one waspicked up personally by Mr. Jay Sul Yu, the President of «Samsung Electronics Ukraine".
